SYMPTOMS
After you perform a typical setup of the SoftGrid Virtual Application Server, the SoftGrid Management Console is not installed. Or, after you perform a custom setup of the SoftGrid Virtual Application Server, the SoftGrid Management Console does not appear on the Custom Setup screen as an available feature.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because the SoftGrid Management Console requires one of the following operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1
If the Setup program does not detect a required operating system, Setup does not install the SoftGrid Management Console. Therefore, the SoftGrid Management Console is not an available program feature.
