CAUSE

This problem may occur if you do not have access to the application or to the provider policy. This problem may also occur if the "?Customer" entry that is specified in the HREF attribute of the CODEBASE element in the .osd file is misspelled.

RESOLUTION

Verify that you are a member of a group that is associated with the application. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the SoftGrid Management Console, and then connect to the SoftGrid Management Web service.
  2. Expand Console Root, expand SERVER NAME, and then expand Applications.
  3. Right-click the application that is reported in the error code, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the Access Permissions tab.
  5. Verify that you are a member of one of the groups that is listed.

Verify that you are a member of a group that is associated with the provider policy. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the SoftGrid Management Console, and then connect to the SoftGrid Management Web service.
  2. Expand Console Root, expand SERVER NAME, and then expand Provider Policies.
  3. Right-click Default Provider, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the Group Assignments tab.
  5. Verify that you are a member of one of the groups that is listed.

If you still experience this problem, open the .osd file, and then make sure that the "?Customer" entry is not misspelled. For example, if the .osd file is configured to use an Anonymous Provider Policy, the .osd file will contain the following entry:

HREF="rtsp://%SFT_SOFTGRIDSERVER%:554/Softricity/sft_ea70.v1.sft?Customer=Anonymous
