Audio files may occasionally stop playing momentarily on your Zune 30GB device

SYMPTOMS

When you play audio files on your Zune 30GB device, the sound may occasionally stop momentarily. The sound then immediately continues.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when you play an AAC type of audio file. This was a known issue with the Zune 30GB device.

THINGS TO TRY

Try one or more of the following steps in the order listed:

  1. Connect the Zune device to the computer that has the current Zune software installed, and then update the device to the current device software version.   2. Play .mp3 or .wma type files.
