  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition for Itanium-based Systems
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition for Itanium-Based Systems

You experience performance issues when you run applications that use the Oleaut32.dll file or the Asycfilt.dll file on a computer that is running an Itanium-based version of Microsoft Windows Server 2003. For example, you experience slower than expected performance when certain operations are performed in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services.

This issue occurs because the Oleaut32.dll file and the Asycfilt.dll file in an Itanium-based version of Windows Server 2003 do not include certain compiler optimizations.
