This article describes how to locate and view the hardware and firmware version information for a Zune device.

To view the hardware and firmware version information for the device, follow these steps:
- On the Home screen, click Settings, and then press the OK button in the center of the Control Pad.
- Click About, and then press OK.
- Click Zune, and then press OK.
The version and build numbers for the device are displayed under the Zune logo. The software version information appears on the top line, followed by the hardware version number. For example, the device displays the following information:
Version 1.1 (322) Hardware 2.0
