SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:

  • You create a Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 project.
  • You add an XML Schema definition language (XSD) schema that is named schema D to the project.
  • You add schemas that are named schema B and schema C to the project.
  • You add a schema that is named schema A to the project. Schema A includes schema C.

In this scenario, you receive an error message that resembles the following when you try to compile the project:

Error: BEC2013: Node node name - Specify a valid .NET type name for this root node. The current .NET type name of this root node is a duplicate.

RESOLUTION
