To determine the unique number that is associated with the message that you receive, press CTRL+SHIFT+I. The following number appears in the lower-right corner of this message:
To resolve this issue, upgrade the antivirus program that is installed on the computer to a program that supports the scanning of encrypted content. Microsoft Antivirus API supports the scanning of encrypted content.
To work around this issue, do not save the workbook as an Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook (*.xlxm) file or as an Excel Binary Workbook (*.xlsb) file. Instead, save the original workbook as an Excel 97-2003 Workbook (*.xls) file.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Create the original encrypted Excel workbook in Excel 2007, but do not save the workbook.
- Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Save As.
- In the Save As dialog box, click Excel 97-2003 Workbook (*.xls) in the Save as type box.
- Name the file, and then click Save.
Note When you close and then reopen the encrypted workbook, the macro functions as expected.
