When you use the Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 to process RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF) 1.1 messages, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
This issue occurs because the BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 incorrectly requires some fields that are optional in the RNIF 1.1 specification.
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that this article describes. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
