When you try to open the Properties dialog box for an instance of ProClarity Analytics Server from the Analytics Server Administration Tool, you receive the following error message:
If you click OK in the error message dialog box, the Properties dialog box for the instance of Analytics Server appears. However, items in the Properties dialog box appear to be blank.
This problem only occurs if the Analytics Server Administration Tool is installed on a computer that is running Windows 2000 Professional Service Pack 4 (SP4).
To work around this problem, follow these steps:
- Remove the Analytics Server Administration Tool from the computer that is running Windows 2000 Professional SP4.
- Make sure that Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) is installed on the computer.
- Reinstall Analytics Server. On the Choose Installation Type page, select Full product.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
