SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. In the ProClarity Analytics Server (PAS) Administration Tool, you publish the ProClarity KPI Designer component together with the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 redistributable package (KPIDesigner.xml). Then, you publish the KPI Designer component without the .NET Framework 1.1 redistributable package (KPIDesignerSm.xml) to overwrite the KPIDesigner.xml file. In this scenario, the Download Components Web page displays both versions of the KPI Designer component.
This problem also occurs if you publish the ProClarity Selector component without the .NET Framework 1.1 redistributable package (SelectorSm.xml) to overwrite the Selector component together with the .NET Framework 1.1 redistributable package (Selector.xml).
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the versions of the components have different file names.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, follow these steps:
- Delete both versions of the components from the PASUploads directory.
Note By default, the PASUploads directory is in the following location:C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\PAS\
- Republish only one version of the components.
Note If not all PAS users have the .NET Framework 1.1 installed, republish the following complete installation packages:- KPIDesigner.xml
- Selector.xml
