When you browse from a subject area to the My Dashboard area in ProClarity Dashboard Server 6.0 or in earlier versions of ProClarity Dashboard Server, you receive the following error message:

Please wait. Loading View

However, the display control never displays the view. When you click the error symbol on the status bar in Windows Internet Explorer, you may receive one of the following error messages:

Error message in ProClarity Dashboard Server 6.0

Permission denied

Error message in ProClarity Dashboard Server 5.3

'' is null or not an object.

Note This issue is fixed in ProClarity Dashboard Server 6.1.

To resolve this issue, change the Check for newer versions of stored pages setting in Internet Explorer. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. In the Internet Options dialog box, click Settings under Temporary Internet files.
  3. In the Settings dialog box, click Every visit to the page, and then click OK.
  4. To close the Internet Options dialog box, click OK.

After you follow these steps and return to a page that you previously viewed, Internet Explorer checks whether the page changed since you last viewed the page. If the page changed, Internet Explorer displays the new page. Additionally, Internet Explorer stores the new page in the Temporary Internet Files folder.

Note After you follow these steps, Internet Explorer performance may slow down when you browse pages that you previously viewed.
