If you have a standard user account and you perform an action that requires elevated permissions, you must enter the credentials of an administrator to elevate permissions in Windows Vista. However, after you elevate permissions, the preferred UI language of the administrator appears in the dialog boxes that you open when you use these permissions. This language may differ from the preferred UI language that you expect.
Currently, this is the expected behavior in Windows Vista.
Note The preferred UI language of the administrator user account is the display language that the administrator used in the last active session. Therefore, if the administrator changes the display language, but does not log on to the computer again, the newly changed display language does not appear in dialog boxes that you open by using the credentials of the administrator to elevate permissions.
