SYMPTOMS
When you create and use a virtual function that overrides a base virtual function in Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
This problem occurs if one parameter of the virtual function involves a type that is defined in another assembly.
CAUSE
This error occurs because the type that is defined in another assembly is not recognized correctly.
RESOLUTION
