When you open an existing document or create a new document in Microsoft Office Word 2007, a security warning appears on the Message Bar. You experience this symptom even if the document does not contain macros.

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:

  • You previously opened a document that contained macros.
  • You received a security warning on the Message Bar.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the security warning appears on the Message Bar until you enable or disable macros.
