The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SYMPTOMS

When the PreCalloutReturnValue value is Stop in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, you experience the following symptoms.

Symptom 1

You use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Software Development Kit (SDK) to create a Presend Callout event for an instance of an e-mail entity. When you run the Presend Callout event, the e-mail message is sent. However, you do not expect the e-mail message to be sent if the PreCalloutReturnValue value is Stop.

Symptom 2

You use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 SDK to create a Preupdate Callout event for an instance of an e-mail entity. When you run the Preupdate Callout event, the e-mail message is updated. However, you do not expect the e-mail message to be updated if the PreCalloutReturnValue value is Stop.
