APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Office Forms Server 2007

SYMPTOMS

When you open a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 form in a Web browser that differs from Microsoft Internet Explorer, you expect a conditionally hidden rich text box control to be hidden. However, the control appears and can be edited.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the conditional visibility is set directly on the rich text control.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, use one of the following methods.

Method 1

Open the form in Internet Explorer.

Method 2

Add the rich text box controls inside a section control. Then, set the conditional visibility on the section control.
