SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:

  • You use Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite to receive messages from an SAP server.
  • The SAP server is Unicode based.
  • You use a custom pipeline to extract the context properties from an incoming message.

In this scenario, some context properties may be unavailable in Microsoft BizTalk Server. For example, the intermediate document (IDoc) number and the version number may not be extracted from the message as expected.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that this article describes. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

You must have Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed to apply this hotfix.

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
