SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You move the focus away from a control in a Microsoft Windows application. You then move the focus back to the control. In this scenario, you may notice that the status of the Chinese input method editor (IME) changes to the full-shape mode. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- The Windows application uses the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.
- There are other controls in the Windows application. For example, a ListBox control is in the Windows application.
- The Chinese IME is enabled on the control.
RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
