MORE INFORMATION

By default, you cannot make the Delegates tab unavailable in the Options dialog box. However, you can remove the Delegate Access add-in from Outlook. This action removes the Delegates tab from the Options dialog box. To remove the Delegate Access add-in, follow these steps:

  1. Start Outlook.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. Click the Other tab, and then click Advanced Options.
  4. In the Advanced Options dialog box, click Add-In Manager.
  5. In the Add-In Manager dialog box, click to clear the Delegate Access check box, and then click OK three times.

The name of the Delegate Access add-in file is Dlgsetp.ecf. By default, this file is located in the following folder:

%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office\Addins

If you do not want users to re-enable the Delegate Access option in the Add-In Manager dialog box, you can rename or remove the Dlgsetp.ecf file. After you rename or remove this file, the Delegate Access check box does not appear in the Add-In Manager dialog box.
