SAMPLE: Using Microsoft C Compiler Options with Windows

Last reviewed: February 15, 1996
Article ID: Q92443

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Windows Software Development Kit (SDK) for Windows version 3.1

Zusammen, which means "together" in German, is an application that scrolls two different windows simultaneously. The user selects the windows by clicking on the Windows1! and Windows2! menu and clicking on the corresponding windows. To scroll both windows, the user clicks Zusammen's scroll bars. This makes it easy to compare data in two different windows or applications.

Zusammen consists of a program generated by MAKEAPP (see the MAKEAPP abstract on the MSDN) and a dynamic-link library (DLL) called Picker that selects the windows to be scrolled.

For more information on ZUSAMMEN, see the "Microsoft Windows and the C Compiler Options" technical article on the MSDN.

ZUSAMMEN was built and tested under Microsoft Windows version 3.1.
