In Microsoft Office Visio 2007, you use the Data Selector Wizard to import data from a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database to shapes in a drawing. However, you notice that certain items are not imported to the drawing.

This behavior occurs if the items are Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) objects that use the adUserDefined data type. Visio 2007 does not support ADO user-defined data types.

For more information about how to import data to shapes in Visio 2007, see Visio 2007 Help. To do this, click Microsoft Office Visio Help on the Help menu, type importing data into shapes in the Type words to search for box, and then click Search to view a list of relevant topics.
