SUMMARY

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has introduced a new soft font set called DC, which is a superset of the DA font set. In addition to the fonts included with the DA set, an extended Roman-8 character set and ECMA-94 character set for the Presentation font, as well as the addition of ECMA-94 and PC-8 character sets for the Letter Gothic font, have been added.

We do not offer a printer driver that directly supports this soft font set, but you can use the printer drivers for the DA Soft Font set, HPDWNLGP.PRD and HPDWNLGL.PRD. This allows you to select these fonts and print properly from Word. If you want to use the added character sets that are available in the DC Set, use MAKEPRD.EXE to change the character set that is being accessed by the Presentation or Letter Gothic Font.
