SUMMARY

DocuComp offers the following two types of cursors that can be used in the Comparison window:

  • A single-character cursor
  • A whole-word cursor

When the LEFT ARROW or RIGHT ARROW key is pressed, the character cursor moves a single character at a time, whereas the word cursor blocks out an entire word and moves one word at a time.

When DocuComp is first installed, the character cursor is active. The cursor preference can be changed from the Settings menu.

For additional information, see page 38 in the “DocuComp Automatic Document Comparison Program” manual.
