SUMMARY
In Word Versions 1.x, 2.x, 3.x, 4.00, and 5.00, the mouse pointer may freeze intermittently when running on a hard drive on an IBM PC/XT with a bus mouse. If this happens, make sure that Jumper J4 on the bus card is set to 2 instead of 5. This will eliminate any interrupt conflicts between the mouse and the hard drive.
