- Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, version 2.0

SYMPTOMS

When you print a range of pages from a Microsoft Works Word Processor document, the selection may print indefinitely.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the starting page number is set to zero (0).

RESOLUTION

To ensure the range of pages prints once only, do the following:

  1. Cancel the current print job by pressing COMMAND+. (PERIOD).
  2. From the Format menu, choose Set Page #.
  3. Type a starting page number greater than 0 (zero).
  4. From the File menu, choose Print.
  5. Click the From button and type the range of pages.
  6. Click OK.

The range of pages now prints correctly.

MORE INFORMATION

This printing problem also occurs if the Title Page option is selected and the Set Starting Page Number option is set to 0 (zero).

This problem does not occur in Works version 3.0 or Works version 4.0.
