SUMMARY

Page 133 in the “Getting Started with Microsoft Word” manual states (halfway down the page) that “You’ll do all your editing for this practice in page view.” A little further down, the directions instruct you to make a section break by holding down the COMMAND key while pressing ENTER.

Then the manual incorrectly states, “Notice that Word repaginates the page and displays a double dotted line indicating the start of a new section.” The double dotted line indicating a section break is visible only in galley view. To use galley view, choose Page View from the Document menu.

After viewing the new section breaks, choose Page View from the Document menu and continue the exercise.
