If a message that contains the maximum text length allowed in the body of a message (32K) is sent in Microsoft Mail, the user to whom the message was sent can get one of the following two error messages when attempting to read or reply to the message:

  • Cannot add text to the message
  • There is not enough room in this box to display all its contents

In addition, the user may not see the header when trying to read the message or, in the case of replying to the message, cannot add any text to the reply.
