Works: Placing Footnotes on a Page by Themselves

SUMMARY

Works prints footnotes immediately after the end of the document, i.e., if you have a five-and-a-half-page document, Works begins printing the footnotes on the line immediately following the last line of the document.

This feature is intended to allow more flexibility in placing footnotes. If you want the footnotes to appear on a page (for example, Page 6) following the last page containing text (for example, Page 5), place a manual page break at the end of Page 5.

If you want a horizontal bar to appear before the footnotes, place a blank paragraph at the end of the last paragraph of text, then format it to have a border on the bottom of the paragraph.
