SUMMARY

While editing a document, pressing the BACKSPACE key while the cursor is at the top of the screen sometimes can cause Works Version 2.00 to briefly display the screenful of text immediately above the cursor.

This display is harmless and affects only the screen, which is redrawn immediately.

To see the problem, do the following:

  1. Create a new Word Processor document.
  2. Enter a few screenfuls of manual page breaks (CTRL+ENTER).
  3. Use the mouse to scroll the screen upward as far as it can go (click the scroll bar’s down arrow until the text does not scroll any more).
  4. Press the BACKSPACE key. The Word Processor window shows a screenful of manual page breaks, then redraws the screen correctly.
