In Microsoft Word for Windows, to insert a text line between two rows of a table, follow the steps below:

  1. Place the insertion point in the row that you want below the intended text line.
  2. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER and insert the text.

Note that this breaks the table into two separate tables.
