The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh versions 4.0, 5.0, 5.1

SUMMARY

To copy a graphic created in Expressionist versions 2.x to Microsoft Word for the Macintosh versions, copy the graphic and then paste it into Word. However, if you want to copy the same graphic from Word back into Expressionist, you must select only the graphic and not the paragraph mark after it.

If you select the graphic and the paragraph mark after it, the graphic will not be pasted into Expressionist.

You cannot select the paragraph marker along with a graphic when pasting into Expressionist because Word stores paragraph formatting in the paragraph markers and Expressionist does not understand this.

To ensure that only the graphic is selected, click the graphic once instead of dragging across it.
