The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Project for Windows, versions 1.0, 3.0, 3.0a, 4.0

Setting your computer’s system clock to a date later than 2049 does not allow you to extend the maximum date range of Microsoft Project for Windows. The last date allowed by Microsoft Project for Windows is December 31, 2049.

Setting the system clock to a date later than December 21, 2049, causes Microsoft Project for Windows to default to this last date for information entry. Then, entering a task that is greater than 1d causes the “Invalid duration value” error message.
