Excel: Using Discontinuous Ranges in a Function

SUMMARY

To use discontinuous ranges in Microsoft Excel functions, you must enter the range in parentheses. For example, a discontinuous range in the IRR() function appears as follows:


   =IRR(($A$1:$A$4,$A$7,$A$9:$A$15),10%)
