The information in this article applies to:

- Microsoft Works for the Macintosh version 2.0 and 3.0

SUMMARY

Microsoft Works 2.0 and 3.0 cannot check the spelling of a column created in the Draw layer. The following is one workaround for this limitation:

1. Highlight the text in the column and choose Cut from the Edit menu.
2. From the File menu, choose New and select WP.
3. From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
4. Run the Spelling program to spell check your document.
5. From the Edit menu, choose Select All, then choose Cut from the Edit menu.
6. Return to the original document and paste the text back into the original column.
7. Repeat this procedure for each column.

This a feature is under review and will be considered for inclusion in a future release.
