Summary: CTRL+BREAK cannot be trapped in a COBOL Version 3.0 or 3.0a program. Pressing CTRL+BREAK, followed by the ENTER key, during the execution of a COBOL 3.0 or 3.0a program causes control to be returned to MS-DOS. The COBOL program cannot trap CTRL+BREAK because it is read by the operating system before reaching the COBOL program.
