Sending Mail from Word to Users on Different Servers

Last reviewed: July 30, 1997
Article ID: Q44831

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SUMMARY

Microsoft Mail version 2.0 supports sending mail from Word to users on a different server. However, when using Mail/InterMail version 1.35, 1.36, or 1.37, you cannot send mail from Word to users who are not on the same server as the sender. To do so, you must be outside Word and send the mail directly from Microsoft Mail.

For more information on how to send mail to users on other servers in Mail/InterMail 1.35, 1.36, or 1.37, see your Mail/InterMail manual.
