The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Project for Windows, versions 1.0, 3.0, 3.0a, 4.0 - Microsoft Project for the Macintosh, versions 1.1, 3.0, 4.0

The error message “Invalid Values” when using the Edit, Find command normally means that you have requested that Microsoft Project find multiple values within a range that is separated by commas. Comma-separated values in an Edit, Find must be enclosed by quotation marks if the date format itself includes a comma. Eg., the date pair 2/3/89, 3/17/89 needs no quotes, but “Feb 3, 1989”, “March 17, 1989” does.

The following is the method for finding all the tasks (resources) within a date range based on Scheduled Start Dates with a single Edit, Find:

Field: Scheduled

Test: Within

Value: “Fri Feb 3, ’89”, “Fri Mar 17, ’89”
