Deleting an Applied Table in Project for Windows

If the table that is currently applied is deleted, several things happen. The first time that you change views, Microsoft Project for Windows and Macintosh displays the message that it can’t find the deleted table. Then, if the Gantt view is chosen, the view is not drawn as expected (the Gantt chart may be missing entirely), and the table used looks like the default entry table. Additionally, the View menu does not have a check in it (as it does when a View is normally applied), nor does the Filter menu.

These problems occur when Project for can’t set the view because the table (or filter) has been deleted. Project applies a task sheet view that is kept internally for such eventualities. Applying another table or filter resolves the problem.
