SUMMARY
When you quit Microsoft Project, you will be prompted to save a file if you changed any of the default settings. (To change the default settings in Microsoft Project 4.0, choose Options from the Tools menu; to change them in Microsoft Project 3.0, choose Preferences from the Options menu.)
MORE INFORMATION
When you make changes to the default settings, Microsoft Project data is automatically recalculated. Microsoft Project interprets this recalculation as a change to the project, and, therefore, you are prompted to save changes when you quit.
