When you copy and paste a Microsoft PowerPoint slide into SmartScrap or save a slide as a picture in a Scrapbook file, text in the slide may take up more horizontal space, overlapping other parts of the slide.
This situation occurs because PowerPoint displays and prints text with fractional widths, but SmartScrap does not display text with fractional widths.
SmartScrap does, however, retain the fractional widths information, so the text will look normal if the information is pasted back into PowerPoint.
Under MultiFinder, you can force SmartScrap to display text properly by holding down the OPTION key while choosing SmartScrap from the Apple menu. This procedure opens SmartScrap within the memory allocated to PowerPoint and allows SmartScrap to display text using fractional widths.
