Summary:
The Microsoft QuickPascal Compiler version 1.00 does not support the extended modes of the IBM 8514 or the PC 3270. These monitors will be treated as VGA monitors. The available modes can be found by invoking Quick Pascal’s on-line help on the function "_setvideomode".
More Information:
Borland’s Turbo Pascal does provide drivers to enable use of the extended modes on these monitors. However, since QuickPascal’s graphics routines are the same graphics as QuickC’s, which do not support the extended modes of these monitors, these modes are not available in QuickPascal Version 1.00.
