The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, versions 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0

Because the Works Spreadsheet module will not support text string values in formulas, Works will not return a blank cell in an =IF statement.

However, Works will return the value “N/A.” To do this, type “NA()” (without the quotation marks) in the value-if-true or the value-if-false function. For example, the following formula will return N/A :

=IF(B21<1,NA(),NA())
