SUMMARY
The background colors will be different on a dual-monitor system when you do the following:
- With the EGA active and a SCREEN.VID file for EGA, start Word.
- Quit to create an MW.INI file.
- Make the Monochrome monitor active.
- Rename SCREEN.VID to EGA.VID.
- Start Word.
- Load a document. The background on the left side of the screen is background color A and the right side of the screen is background color B.
This display anomaly can be corrected by choosing a background color in the “colors” field in the Options menu.
