SUMMARY
You cannot open Word Settings files created with Word versions 3.0x from the Commands dialog in Word version 4.00.
If you attempt to do so, you will get the alert “Cannot read settings file. Reverting to default settings.” The settings will then revert to the last configuration you saved (either by clicking Save As in the Commands dialog or by quitting the program).
