SUMMARY
In Word Versions 3.x, 4.00, and 5.00, the Learning Word screens are compressed so that the code does not take up an excessive amount of disk space. A utility compresses the screens and puts all the information into three files. Files with a .CTX extension contain compressed text. Files with a .SOB extension contain compressed screen objects such as boxes or lines. Files with an .SCN extension contain compressed screen format information.
