Summary:
When installing Multiplan Version 4.01, the SETUP utility prompts for the name of the directory into which Multiplan should be installed. If the ESC key is pressed at this point, a backslash character ("") appears, and the text input box becomes distorted. Another backslash character appears each time the ESC key is pressed.
To recover from this situation, press the ENTER key. The SETUP utility replies that the directory cannot be located, and asks you whether or not you want to continue. Press “S” to specify the directory name again, and type it in correctly without pressing the ESC key.
