====================================================================== 4.00 MACINTOSH kbusage SUMMARY ======= ———————————————————————- The information in this article applies to:

  • == Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 4.0 ==

Double-clicking a configuration file starts the Word version 4.00 application with that configuration (menu and keyboard assignments, preferences, section and document settings, etc.). If you do not double-click a configuration file to start the application, the program starts up with the Word Settings (4) configuration stored in the System Folder.

If Word 4.00 is already started and you want to work with a particular configuration file that you previously created and saved, choose the Commands command from the Edit menu and click the Open button at the bottom of the dialog box to open that file.
