SUMMARY

In the Works Database module there is no Select Print Area command. To select a print area in the database, follow one of the procedures below:

To Print Certain Fields in Certain Records

  1. Select the fields you want to print.
  2. Copy the selected fields to an open spreadsheet or database document (use the Window menu to switch back and forth between these files).
  3. From the File menu, choose Print.

To Print Specific Records

  1. If the records are in the same general area, select that portion of the database.
  2. From the Query menu, choose Hide Records. In Works 3.0, choose Hide Record from the Select menu.
  3. From the Query menu, choose Switch Hidden Records. In Works 3.0, choose Switch Hidden Records from the Select menu.
  4. From the File menu, choose Print.

Note: If there are fewer records in the database document that you do NOT want to print, format that portion of the database as Hidden Records and do not choose Switch Hidden Records.
