- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SUMMARY

If the current Microsoft Mail database was created with Mail version 1.35, 1.36, or 1.37, the Microsoft Word Send Mail dialog box (on the File menu) is different and may not allow you to click the insertion point before the first character in the suggested title. This is not the case with Microsoft Mail 2.00.

However, in the earlier versions of Mail, you can type to replace the entire selection, or press the LEFT ARROW key to move the insertion point to the beginning of the line.

The Microsoft Mail database was rebuilt with version 2.00, and the new dialog boxes do not cause this problem.
