Summary:

In Microsoft Word for Windows version 1.x page view, the view sometimes does not return to the same position when you press PAGE UP immediately after PAGE DOWN. This problem occurs because page view is based on the printed format of the document, which can contain columns, tables, and absolute-positioned objects (APOs) that can affect the length that Word determines for a page (or screen) of text.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for Windows versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.1a. This problem was corrected in Word for Windows version 2.0. New or updated Microsoft products can be obtained by calling Microsoft Sales Information Center at (800) 426-9400. If calling from outside the United States, contact Microsoft International Customer Service at (206) 936-8661.
